In 2024, we, Marloes and IJsbrand, took over the studio from our (in-laws). Although some things get a new look, the philosophy remains the same. With De Noest you can bring the world around you to life and pay attention to what you care about. We make items that stimulate the imagination, tell a story and are close to nature. They last a lifetime, sometimes even generations. They cherish memories, safety and security.
We make our products in a traditional way, and with attention: sustainable, timeless and non-toxic. We use top quality birch plywood, and the stains and varnishes are water-based and non-toxic. Completely safe, even for the littlest ones. Because we do a lot by hand , every De Noest product is unique.
